Q: My chances of falling pregnant?

I've read over many relevant posts on this forum, and they have been very helpful. But to settle my conflicted thoughts and worries I must post with my direct situation. Please, any advice, opinions or help would be appreciated beyond belief!

I've been on the pill for a month, I am taking Microgynon 20 ED. I started on the first day of my period. I got my period during the 7-day sugar tablet-taking. The day I took the last sugar tablet was Friday. I've always taken them at the same time and never missed a pill.
I then started taking the next packet of pills, the next day, Saturday, at the same time. I did so on Sunday as well. On Sunday, hours after I had taken the pill, my boyfriend and I rubbed areas. He then entered only the tip of his penis inside me, and there was little to no moving around, he pulled out whenever he thought he might cum, but he never did cum. He was not wearing a condom. I did not notice any pre-cum. I was on top, and we were sitting down.
I had stated that he must wear condoms if we were ever to have sexual intercourse, I was caught up in the moment here and this was all consented. Looking back, I'm kicking myself for not saying no, and telling him to wait until he gets condoms. I will learn from my mistakes.
Today I have taken my pill at the appropriate time and read through the entire information leaflet on Microgynon 20 ED. There are still some things I would like to get clear.

1- The leaflet says: 'WHEN NO HORMONAL CONTRACEPTION HAS BEEN USED IN THE PAST MONTH: start on the first day of your cycle... if you start Microgynon 20 ED in this way you will be immediately protected from pregnancy and there is no need to use an additional barrier contraceptive method.'
I want to know if this includes me. I believe it does, and if so, I have nothing to worry about - but will use a condom in any future sexual activities, including any touching of the areas.

2- Is there any way I can check that I am pregnant? By that, I mean, can I still use a home pregnancy test even though I am still on the pill? I want to know if being on the pill will effect my result or not.
The leaflet also states that if I experience any vomiting during the time I am taking my active pills - there is a chance that I may be pregnant, and if I do not - the chances are slim. Does anyone know how long this will take to take effect?

3- If I cannot check with a home pregnancy test, should I stop taking the pill in order to be able to do this? Or should I continue taking the pill and see a doctor to check if I am pregnant and/or if I should stop or continue taking the pill?

Thank you.

You are taking great care to use the pill correctly. The failure rate for perfect use of the pill is so low it is almost negligible. I think you are worrying for nothing.

1. Yep, that includes you! It wouldn't matter anyways since you are protected a week of taking your pills correctly. You were protected. Smile

2. The pill will not affect home pregnancy tests. Pregnancy tests check for a hormone only associated with pregnancy and that hormone is not in birth control pills.

The vomitting would be a side effect due to the hormones and if you haven't experienced it yet then you are probably in the clear. Its not exactly a common side effect. You can wait for a missed period just as you would if you weren't on birth control pills.

3. No, keep taking your pills! Even if you start to experience pregnancy symptoms-- keep taking them unless you get a positive on a pregnancy test.

You're fine, I wouldn't worry about it. Smile

Ah, that's such a relief. I was aware that the possibility of such was slim - but yeah, obviously I was still doubtful. I'm over the shake up now, so things are okay. Thank you. Smile
