Q: My bite feels off

I just wanted to take the time and see if anybody could answer a question for me. I didn't see it on any of the other posts, and I am feeling very worried right now. I have been experiencing TMJ pain, for intermittent periods of time now for 2 years. I never did anything about it, and it would just go away on its own after a few weeks. But yesterday I noticed that my bite felt off, and then this morning I woke up and couldn't eat a sandwich properly because my back teeth weren't touching. I know that my teeth feel misagligned ever since yesterday, and today when I try to chew I can't because of that. My question is, is this a normal symptom of TMJ, and will it go away on it's own just like the other symptoms have? I am curious about the answer, and having these anxious thoughts that my teeth will be permanently misaligned!

Extremely eHealthy
you might have a cross bite..i have a slight one but the dentist said i should be fine and that it needed no correction, if you have a bad cross bite however, it could eventually years down the road wear down your teeth from what the dentist told me..you might want to get it checked out to see just how bad your cross bite is and if it needs to be fixed
