Q: Mutli-vitamin options

Please help...I have been trying without success to take a mutivitamin pill daily. Every kind of vitamin pill I tried taking in the past made me nauseated. I have tried taking them with milk, food etc. Nothing helped.
Now, just the thought of them makes me sick. I really need to take one. Can anyone suggest either a liquid one that goes in a drink? (no taste) Or does anyone know of one that is very small like the One-A-Day vitamins used to be? I am a 60 year old female. Thanks foryour help.

Liquid multivitamin
I take GBG 10-in-one liquid multivitamin, it has plenty of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, in a liquid delivery system. It tastes like concentrated orange juice so it should be OK.

Creak, the reason you feel nauseous is because of the B vitamins. Some people just can't tolerate them first thing in the morning. My advice is to take your multi after your lunch when your stomach is full. You might also benefit from taking a capsule or soft gel instead of a hard tablet. You could be sensitive to one of the binders in the tablet and capsules also tend to be smaller.

Time of day as fatnutritionist said is a good point.

Just about anything can cause sensitivities for some people. Iron is a frequent problem. I would suggest that sensitive people first find an 'iron free' multiple.

Softgels also can make a difference, but not with hard-to-digest soy oil as by GNC. Now Foods Liquid Multi Gels with flax oil is a nice formula. Suggested dose 2 per day, so if you take only 1 this will be low-dose as Creak seems to desire. This does contain iron, though a special non-constipating type.

I don't put much stock in the original one-a-day. Might as well eat a piece of liver or a spoonful of yeaast. Or go natural by taking separately:

spirulina capsule or powder for beta carotene
liver capsule for b complex
ascorbate buffered C pills
calcium citrate with magnesium and D
(best to take calcium only with meals and only in the afternoon)
use body lotion containing vitamin E
for potassium eat ripe bananas or take Krebs magnesium-potassium by Enzymatic Therapy

(Obviously many people will not want to 'go natural' by using so many things but just a possibility to consider.)

i take prenatals
I am an 18 year old male. I take a womans multivitamin known as the prenatal. The reason is the vitamins in it used to make hair and nails grow faster due to the infants need for folic acid and calcium. Both them are for hair and nails so yeah. I love it cause my hair is growing faster which its starting to get long...i miss my long hair...and my nails need to be long and strong because i play guitar

Another option
You could try crushing up the vitamin and adding it to your food or a beverage and taking it that way. It may help.
