Im a 22 year old female from wisconsin, for the past 5 years or so I have been having some problems with my legs, about 4 years ago I went to the doctor because I had been having i guess spasms in my legs I would be walking at a festival or something and get a pain mainly in the back of my upper thigh ( usually on the left one) that would practically make my leg collapse. I went to the doctor and they sent me to a leg specialist who took x rays and had me walk and push and everything with my leg and found nothing wrong she sent me home with some stretches to try and went no further than that. Since then i've just had to deal with this problem. It doesnt happen all the time and it doesnt always hurt, I've tried many different things, ice, heat, and many different types of over the counter meds, nothing seems to help. I know it has nothing to do with my bones or anything it mainly when it happens feels like the muscles in my leg are tightening up and then leads to me not being able to put weight on my leg or somethings even move my leg because it hurts so bad. I no longer have health insurnace other wise i might have went to a different doctor to see what this was..but i just dont want to waste my time and money if its something maybe i can do something to help. Anything would be helpful!

Does it run in your family? If so, your best bet would be to contact the MD foundation. They can test you and lead you to helpful care.

I sure hope you are ok.
