I had a MRI on lower back... doc calls today and says arthritis with some decompression... have had severe pain radiate from pelvic bones to right hip bone to tailbone... etc... but confusing is the muscle weakness in the arches of my feet, calves of my legs, palms of my hands and up my arms... is this arthritis too??? she says i have to learn to 'live with it'... i have a hard time with medications... bad reactions to most... take motrin... am trying 'natural' healing 'cures'... does anyone have suggestions or have same symptoms with the muscle cramping??? or have any 'natural' things they have tried that have worked for them??? i feel like i have been dealt a death sentence as i have always been active and now getting weaker and weaker (i am 67 years old)... please help me with suggestions... thank you!

Arthritis, in most cases, does not cause muscle weakness or even pain. Your pain and weakness is due to other factors, like a possible nerve irritation, pinched nerve etc. You may consider consulting with a chiropractor for your condition. Good luck!
