my sister is having serve pain in the lower back of her head and has had it over 24 hours. i was just wanting to know if you could give me some advice on this.

More information is needed. What caused the pain? What helps it or makes it worse?
If this is from muscle tension you may try a hot pack for 15 minutes on and 1 hour off. If this was due to trauma then you may want to get it checked by the ER or your PCP.
If it continues you may consider consulting with a chiropractor as they are specialists in neck pain and headaches. Good luck.

If she has had these headaches before than she should be evaluated and treated, possibly by a Chiropractor. If this is the worst headache she has ever had and they do not relent, she should go to an Emergency Room for evaluation.
