Q: Muscle aches after sex

I have observed over some years that I suffer body and joint aches and buttock aches after sex and would last days after sex. I hope someone has a cure. I had earlier asked on this site for help on a related issue and find no help yet. I do not go through any harsh physicals during sex but end up tired and with joint pains like i said even after just a round of sex.

Hardly of any help....
Hello:

I have the same experience and mine further ends with a fever, terrible fever and joint pains. Even when I just cuddle and kiss, I end up with the feverishness for days until I treat malaria fever with drugs. I do not have the aches and pains though if I do not have actual sex. I share your frustrations as I had asked on this forum years ago and had no response to date.

You are not alone though, hope that helps in a way.

Luck.

Orgasm can trigger inflammation cascade. I just suggest you to make a little test without med : during a week don't eat sugar and high glycemic index food. Especially the day before orgasm. It might help to reduce the inflammation. Please tell me if you have an improvement.

RE: Musclar pain after organsm
Hello and thanks:

I will avoid sugar. But do you mean foods with sugar? What types? And can you break down high glycemic index foods? Which type of foods, please.

Thanks

What is the med way out in the alternative. I am not sure I can do away with carbohydrates. I am African and most of my diets are in those forms. Please what drug can reduce this inflammation cascade?

Thanks

I'm not sure but different forms of sugar (carbohydrates)like starch and sucrose might cause inflammation. A scientific study proved the link between high glycemic index food and inflammation level (higher C-RP).If you want to do the test, I think you should stop sucrose and reduce starch and use low GI food.
In practice, more vegetables , proteins and lower carbs (I take oatmeal for breakfast ). Symptoms as post-ejaculation fever and joint pains would be reduced.
Keep in mind it's just a tip.

RE:
Thanks. I will. However, not only do I suffer from POIS but also pre-ejaculation feverishness. I do feel feverish and have to take anti malaria drugs before I get well just for cuddling a girl, really that bad.

Thanks
