Hi

I have had 3 previous terminations, one when I was 16, one at 18 and last one when I was approx 22. The last termination I had, I opted for the oral tablet to terminate my pregnancy. I remeber bring in quite a lot of pain and one of the nurses did say that I had a higher level of pain than other paitents who used the tablets.
Stupidly, I didn't have a check up with my doctor afterwards and now I am worried that I could have affected my chances of conceiving.

I am now much older and wiser and want to be able to start a family properly. Is there anyone who could give me some advise or share any experiences with me as I don't want to worry unnecessarily if the factors above will not affect me being able to conceive. I am now 27 years old.

Thank you
Laura

D&Cs can cause scarring of the uterus but usually after many. It sounds like you have had 2. You shouldn't have problems conceiving but you definately need to talk with your doctor and get on prenatal vitamins and folic acid before you begin trying.
