Due to complications with Hodgkins Lymphoma, one procedure performed during Laproscopic surgery was a spleen removal, years later I was told that I now have multiple spleens, more that two. Is this a common occourance, or an issue to be resolved at a later date?

Pain in left side under rib cage and in the stomach and back.
I had an edoscopic ultrasound and I was tould I have an extra spleen. I then read where 10 to 15% of people have an extra spleen. I have pain under my left rib cage that is also in the stomach and back. I have not had any affirmative reasons for the pain as of yet, and I have been suffering for over 10 months now. I have had $20K worth of test done, and I am now scheduled to see a pain specialist.
