I have found from my experiences that it varies with guys, many can only cum once or, it seems like only once because it takes a longer time for them to "recharge" as it were. I have also had the good fortune to have sex with some guys that could cum more than once, but I have found that this is more typical of younger men than older ones (but I don't want to make generalities here).
Maybe some of the fellows on this forum will kick in an opinion.

Like for instance, one sex romp turned into a 3 hour thing, me having already got off trying to get him off. I know he was a little drunk, he said he loved having sex with me, and that he "almost" came multiple times. he ended up getting off once, but it took darn near 3 hours!

Yes this has happened to me before. Guys may not cum too quickly if there are various things in play. For instance, as you mentioned, if they have had alcohol or some other drug which dullens their senses.
Also, some guys just don't have a very sensitive penis. By that, I mean that they do not respond as quickly to stimulation (hand, mouth, etc.) as other and so again it can take longer. Does this fellow have a history of taking a long time? Maybe this is just the way he is. If there isn't a history, then maybe ask what he has been doing differently for the past little while.

thanks wendy, that just opens up a few doors in my mind. I never thought that guys may have different sensitivity levels in their penises, and i never took that into consideration. theres a fine line for me between when i'm thinking "man this is great, he's not a minute man," and "man, when is he gonna be DONE??" LOL.

no, it's not crazy, a majority of girls have never squirted, a lot of them also think it's a complete myth, along with some of my friends. They believe that if they've never done it, it can't happen. My sex partners and i know that that isn't true.

while women can have multiple orgasms men have a specific period of time in which they phsycially can NOT have an orgasm or an erection..I forget what its called but as furrytail said, they simply have to have time to "recharge" ..for some men it takes 10 minutes and he's up again, for other men that time is much longer..it just depends...

Also like the comment above me, it can depend on the guy and sometimes depend on how horny he was before. I am a guy and i've found that if the load is huge then it will probably take a while to "recharge".o

I don't think its appropriate to be asking females how many guys they've laid or laid in a specific time period. The question being addressed was mutiple orgasms, and in particular in men and why they may take a long time to orgasm.

For me personally, I prefer not to come and I will try my hardest to sustain, at least until my partner orgasms at least once. I enjoy seeing my partner get off, and to me there is absolutely nothing more arousing than witnessing it. The most I have ever come in one night was four times, but of course that was when I was 28. Now that I'm a few years older I find that one time is sufficient. especially if you have a partner that expects you to be on top (in the missionary position) all the time. If it's varied and she wants to share some of the load, we'll more than likely continue on. But as you get older it does get to be quite physical. By the way, I'm 52, and I'd like to think I'm still sexually fit, but sometimes with all of the variables involved (work, time restraints etc) one time is enough...just be sure that you come first in my book!

My point above was that you we asking a question inappropriate for the topic being discussed.
