Hello,

I have seen 5 orthopedic surgeons, a neurologist and a rheumatologist. My main symptoms is joint pain, but also muscle pain (burning and numbing) and heat intolerance (unexplained sweating). I don't know if the heat intolerance is relevant but I am putting it down anyway.

I have been to a orthopedic surgeon for my feet, hips, spine, arms and a general sports doctor. They all have diagnosed me with arthritis of a specific joint. I have arthritis (osteoarthritis with osteophytes) in both big toes, both knees, both hips, lower spine, and in my arms. I also have weird stuff like Schmorl's nodes in my thoracic spine (4 vertebrae).

This is not normal for a 25 year old! The neurologist and rheumatologist have apparently cleared me of any systematic problems or causes. I don't understand why 80% of all my joints ache and have been diagnosed with osteoarthritis.

All the doctors keep referring me to physio and physical therapy. I have 40 pages of lab results and everything does seem fine. The only weird labs are of Gliadin AB IGG (little high) and Lyme Disease western blot that was rated NEGATIVE but had positive bands.

Do you have any ideas of how to proceed? I might see another rheumatologist but I am missing a lot of time from work due to tons of doctor visits, x-rays and especially MRI's (9 total MRI's the past 2 months).

Thank you so much for any advice.

You may want to address this to "Ask a doctor" at the top of this page...Seeing I am in the same joint pain as you (only much older) I know the walk in life that you are walking...Hopefully they will be able to get to the bottom of this and get you some help...Good luck...
