Im a 22 year old female. Two years ago I found a hard finger sized lump on my chest near my sternum. After checking myself out, I found enlarged pea size lymph nodes that arent painful and kinda hard on each side of the middle of my neck and two on the base of the left side of my neck. Fast forward two years...I now have 6 large lumps on my chest bone area and the lymph nodes have not gone away and now I have a couple in my legs..they havent grown any bigger though, just multiply. I am extremely tired and weak..i do have anemia..i take iron but im still exhausted, I get breathless and weak going to the bathroom. I am extremely naseuated all the time. And I recently lost 16 pounds in two weeks. I cant eat i feel so full after eating two crackers (or something extremely small) I get migraine headaches all the time now..and my chronic dry cough that ive had is now producing alot of mucus. Ive been to the doctor and they arent helping me. My blood count and ANA blood test has come back just fine. Therefore, they told me they dont know. I am also starting to get 100 degree temperatures all the time, ive started taking my temp regularly to monitor it. Cancer runs heavily on both sides of my family, my moms sister even died at 28 cuz they misdiagnoised her and found the cancer too late, she had bone cancer. But my xrays are normal, bone scan normal, no autoimmune diseases , no mono no nothing. Could i possibly have lymphoma and they are missing it? My quality of life is going down hill and the more time goes on its getting worse. Should i get a second opinion? Or am i overexaggerating?

I can only base my assessment and recommendations upon the information that you have provided. However, it would probably be wise to have one or of these nodules biopsied to rule-out lymphoma, or other malignancies.

Thank you. I ended up in the ER due to being in so much pain and was told in the end I have mono. Apparently ive had it for a couple months and am almost over it, i have a week left. But i never got to ask, why would i have swollen lymph nodes and swollen lumps on my chest and chronic body pain along with a cough for two years and just now mono is positive? Mono cant last for two years? Is something comprimsing my immune system? Ive had three ear infections, a couple viruses and now mono all in 6 months. Mono does make sense in the fact im loosing so much weight and some other symptoms like headaches however im lost about the others. I dont want to seem like i want something wrong with me...it just doesnt add up. Should i still consult my doctor about this? Or should i just let this go? Thank you so much for a reply!
