I am currently in Vietnam and slept in a rather undesirable house of a friend (on the floor, where there were insects, in an old, crumbling, nooks and crannies type building). I have 11 bites. 5 on my right leg, 1 on my stomach, 2 on my back and 3 on my left arm. I noticed the red spots in the morning and by the next day most of them had joined up into a thickish dark purple bruise (a little raised). One on my arm is raised by 2mm, oozed a little, has a small white cap to it (but only 1mm), has a purple spot with a lighter red ring around this. I read that this is indicative of a spider bite but I'm assuming the fact that the 2 'punctures' are 1cm apart means that this can't be a spider (?). If there anything else that could do this? By the 2 on my back there is also a strange rash in rows of dashes, a little like this:

- - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - -
- - - - - - - - -

None of the bite marks are 'spreading' and only the one on my arm is stinging (but I wouldn't say I was in pain, I would just say it's throbbing and hurts when I touch it).

Thanks a lot for any ideas.
