Does having more than on abortion increase risks of having unsuccessful pregnancies?
last year I had one and this year im scared I might be pregnant again, I have been having safe sex but condoms arent 100% clearly. If I am Im considering an abortions, but will having another abortion increase my risks of having an unsuccessful pregancy in my future?

It shouldn't affect your ability to have children in the future. No birth control is 100%. You might want to double your birth control - such as use spermicide with condoms or birth control pills and condoms.

I had three abortions before I had my two kids. But having multiple abortions like that definitely isnt good for u and abortions could possibly lead to infertility if the procedure is not done right. multiple abortions also has been known to be linked to an increase risk of breast cancer. If u are pregnant think it through and think about the emotional aspect aswell. Good luck to ya!

evidence that it does not
ive had 2 abortions and hope it doesnt affect my chances of getting pregnant in the future.also i know a female that had alot of abortions when she was 15-18(i think she said 5). at 18 she had a little girl and 19 she had a little boy and shes now 34 and has since had another son an is about to give birth next month 2 another boy. I wouldnt recommed having mutiple abortions tho as it does take alot out of you. I wouldn't have another(well thats what i said teh 1st time). so gudluck u mite not be pregnant tho so find that out first and then you can think ov your options.

I have never personally had an abortion, though my mother has told me about the two she has had. The first was at 16, but she had no problem with getting pregnant with my brother and I. She also had one when I was three years old. She was pregnant with my little sister four months later.

So to the best of our combined knowledge having an abortion should have no negative effect on your ability to conceive. The only real risk is that with the more abortions you have the more likely it is for something to go wrong.

My family has little quirk where it seems like men just looking at us gets us pregnant! And just relying on one method of birth control is not normally enough (almost all of my LARGE family were 'accidents' lol...my grandmother alone has 27 grand- and great-grandkids ranging from 36 to a year old!) so you may be the same way. Get some BCP and keep on using condoms. Best of luck!

An abortion is like any surgical procedure, there is risks and one should be made aware of them upon the appointment.

I had an abortion and two kids later, don't worry about it~!
