I'm simply wondering what the possbile causes for such an injury could be. I have been diagnosed with this injury on my Hoffa fat pad, but I can no longer afford ($) to continue with constant doctor visits. So I was hoping someone could help me by offering common ways such a cyst might form -- is it from blunt trauma or like constant physical stress on the affected area?

My job requires me to work on my knees a lot. But I wasn't sure if that could cause this or if it requires some sort of strong impact for a cyst like this to form.

Thanks for any help anyone may be able to provide!
