Q: Mucousy stool

I have been having mucousy stool for about 3 weeks, it is soft and more orange than brown, whenever i eat something i get the burning feeling in my abdomen that you get when you have diarrhea (heck, sometimes it is diarrhea) and my face is covered in little bumps that are not acne. Could be related, maybe not, I have no idea. All I know is that I am uncomfortable and well aware of all the bathrooms within a 30 second radius at all times. It started when i got this flu bug a few weeks back - super high fevers - no vomiting, REALLY bad headaches - that lasted about 3 days but the BM issue hasn't left. Any ideas?

Extremely eHealthy
The reason for your stool being orange in color is probably faster passing of food through the intestinal tract (there is no enough time for food to absorb enough bile that gives, along with gut bacteria, stool's final color).
Very often, the gastrointestinal infection of different etiology can be an initial trigger for chronic gastrointestinal disease, like Irritable bowel syndrome.
Diarrhea with mucus with urgent feeling for defecation, are some of the IBS symptoms.

Try to pay attention to food you eat, and visit a gastroenterologist!
