Q: Mucous / Discharge ?

Hello everyone!

I am currently 18 weeks into my second pregnancy and have a question regarding discharge.

Approximately a week ago I encountered some odd discharge in my underwear, it was clear with some faint white streaks through it and had the consistency of egg whites, the amount was equivalent to around the size of a canadian twoonie. Today, I had another odd feeling, it felt really wet "down there" so I went to the washroom to check out what was going on and had a glob around twice the size of the last discharge that was coming out of me. This one wasnt super clear, it was still transparent but had a tiny bit of a yellowish/opaque colour to it. I live quite a distance away from my Ob/Gyn and my next appointment is 2 weeks away (I will mention these occurances to her when I see her) but I was wondering if this was normal? I didnt pass a mucous plug with my first baby at all, so I was wondering if this could possibly be it, or maybe my body is just producing a larger amount of discharge than what I had with my first?

Thanks in advance to anyone with any comments/suggestions Very Happy

It could be that you are getting a yeast infection. if it was your plug it would have a gray colour to it. I would go to a clinic and get cheacked. I am 19weeks and i have the same thing.
