Dear Doctor,
I read your post about AIDS developing within 10-15 years... This number seems high to me? From what I understood, AIDS usually develops between 8-10 years and it would be rare to go 12, 13, 14 years with no symptoms? Please advise.
Second, what exactly are "mucocutaneous infections"? I read that initial hiv symptoms include: minor mucocutaneous infections. What exactly are these and could you give me a few examples? I think it's something to do with skin?
Finally, is is unusual to display NO symptoms of hiv and then suddenly be hit with AIDS?
Thanks for your time,
