Hello, im new to the site. I just found out I have MS last week. I went to the ER cause I had a migrane for 10 days and they decided to admit me. After doing a MRI on my brain and several spinal taps they concluded I had MS. Im only 23 so I dont have a lot of symptoms yet. Being tired all the time is one of my major ones though.

Can any one tell me what medicine they are on and how well it has been working for them? I still have not decided what to be put on. Im just afraid of the side effects that comes along with it.

Thank you guys!! Hope to hear back from people Razz

There are a lot more available now then 10 years ago...each has their own unique side effects.

Before beginning any drug therapy your doctor needs to decide what form of MS you have. Whether it be relapsing remitting, primary, secondary, etc.

Google MS Society or sign up for a free copy of MSFocus...an awesome magazine that informs people and caregivers of MS with up to date info on this fickle disease.
