I'd like some advice on my symptoms. Are they valid for a MS exam? First to include family history: I have psoriasis, I am hypo thyroid, and my 9 y/o son has Graves disease. All these are immune related and I read that MS is as well. For many months I am awakened at night with my calf in such severe cramps, that it takes some time for it to lossen up. Standing on my leg doesn't even help relieve the cramp, as it did in the past. I am also wakened with both hands and forearms asleep and tingling. In the past I was told it was carpal tunnel??? Now it is in both hands
and arms. It can happened through the day depending on how much I use my hands. I am a substitute teacher. So it is not a constant movement job such as working on a computer.
My left elbow is weak and painful. It is the tearing pain I read about.
It has been more severe, and it's original attack was not a result of an injury. I have a pain in my foot that feels like it is stabbing and throbbing at times. The elbow and foot happened about the same time. xrays of foot show nothing.
I'm exhausted all the time. My legs feel as if they could fall off. I am often off balanced. I have to regroup to and concentrate to shake a dizzy spell. No spinning sensations, however. I am slower at thinking and processing what I want to say. I feel like my food gets trapped in my throat. It feels as if I can't swallow completly. I pee quicker than I can sit in the bathroom. I am always constipated. I am 42 and feel like I complain all the time. I had a lumbar fusion 1.5 years ago. I finally felt better after begining celexa 3 months ago, then it is all creeping back quickly. Am I paranoid? Thanks Rolling Eyes

Why not see a neurologist and take it from there?
