Q: MS primary progressive

hi
my relative have ms primary progressive and doctors told him to take mitoxantrone every 3 months and betaferone 2 times a week . but he isn't getting better
is this treatment good? or shall he take mitotrexate? or please tell me something else?

His doctor would be the best one to decide treatment or he could seek another opinion.
