Q: ms primary progress

hi,
my uncle is 44 years old and he has ms primary progessive.
here in Egypt doctors want him to take (Mitoxtrone) or (Methotrexate)
so i want to know which is better? and is there any other treatment? and is it serious condition? and will treatment make him recover? please try to help me and tell me everything.

Yes and Primary Progessive is the worse.

There is no cure for MS and drugs that are taken is to slow down the progession of the disease and / or symptoms.

Are they sure it is Primary Progessive and not Relapsing Remitting. Difference being PPMS continually gets worse and with RRMS there is disease activity and then recovery to a certain degree.
