Q: MS or Anxiety?

Almost exactly 3 years ago I started getting a twitch right above my left knee and some lower back pain. I had it for a few days and went to the dr. who was not concerned at all. I of course started to panic. It progressed to twitches all over my body with bad neck and shoulder pain. It finally all subsided and have had nothing since. I recently had my 4th child and since I have been suffering from horrible anxiety and now the exact symptoms are back again. Started with the one twitch above my left knee and then again spread all over my body and bad neck and shoulder pain. I did have an MRI w/ no contrast done the first time this happened (upon my urging) and it was normal. Also saw a neuro who saw no signs of MS. If I were to have MS could I have gone 3 year with absolutely no symptoms and then now have the exact symptoms reoccur? I am a nervous wreck. My dr again said MS very unlikely. But I am not convinced that it's not MS.

You could always get a second opinion. MS is an unpredictable disease of the central nervous system. However there are diseases that mimic MS and visa-versa.

Why do think it is MS?
