Q: MS and TMJ ?

I have been experiencing a strange headache and jaw aches lately for the past few months. When I open my jaw widely, I hear a grinding on the left side and there seems to be a lot of tension there (not on the right side at all). My left side temple throbs without pain and I can feel my whole left side of my face/head without touching it (it is just "there").

I am a multiple sclerosis patient, but my neurologist assures me this isn't a symptom of it (the headaches). We thought it might be TMJ and he told me to take magnesium and riboflavin (vitamin B-2) and since then it felt like my throbbing stopped and my sensation on the left side of my head went away. When I went to the dentist he stated "TMJ normal", but my jaw felt fine then (15~ days after taking the vitamins). After ending my use of the vitamins, my jaw seems to be back to normal and my head's sensation came back. Whenever I felt the painless throbs I took my dosage of vitamins and the day after I wouldn't feel the throbs, but I'd have the sensation on my head (the whole left side).

I went back and he said the vitamins wouldn't help the jaw (tmj), but only help with the migraine like localized headache when I asked. I am sure my jaw felt a lot better between taking them, so that is why he isn't sure if it was TMJ or not. Should I seek another doctor? I am greatly worried and I didn't even care when I was told I had multiple sclerosis.

Edit: At the dentist I did feel the minor grinding when opening my jaw, but it wasn't as bad as months ago or now. Could the dentist have over looked it? Can TMJ come and go between severity? Is my type of headache something that TMJ would cause? My neurologist just said that he didn't know what it was and I was on my way, so naturally I'd be worried without a talk of an emergency MRI or even talking about what it could possibly be.

My question was renamed and I am unable to edit, so I'll say I am not asking in any way if my headaches and strange feeling in my head could be related to MS as I have none of the traditional symptoms presently.

I am just wondering what my throbbing and more importantly why I can "feel" the left side of my head constantly there. My last blood pressure check was 143/74 or so, for more information.
