I was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer in the fall of 2008. Prior to that I had been diagnosed with Genital Herpes. I have been medicated for the Herpes but have chosen to let life take its course with the cancer.
I had several questions but only related to my recent MRI of my brain which indicated multiple lesions (unspecified). The neurologist that I saw last week, said that the lesions could indicate MS but wasn't sure.
My questions are:
Can Hepes be responsible for the lesions of the brain?
Can MS explain the mass of inflammation on my lower spine? I can barely walk some days or get out of bed.
There is a history of Lupus in my family. Is that in the same family as MS?
I'm wondering if the Dr. knows something but is avoiding telling me because my time is limited as it is due to the cancer.
What other reasons could explain the lesions on the brain.
