I have just been diagnosed with MRSA a huge spot on back of my neck now have formed a whole and a black spot, went to er they said Staph, never took a culture sent me home with pain meds and Bactrim, Wednes day I woke up with a soar throught and the back of my tongue hurt on the bottom of it, couldn't eat or swallow hardley it hurt to back, went to Dr my blood pressure was 157/101, they said this was probably do to the pain I was in I never had high blood pressure. Well they tried to get a culture but the infection on my neck is rock hard she stuck a needle in it, I cried so bad she was squizzing it so hard couldn't get any puss to come out, just a little blood to testing, she put me on cleocin 300mg, gave me a steroid shot for inflammation. I have had a major headache since this has started sick to my stomach, woke up this morning my face is brigh red blood pressure is running low. Is this MRSA in my blod stream, how dangerous is this? Why hasn't anyone taking my blood sample to test my blood levels do I need to ask for this, I'm weak and feel nausous all the time. My son had MRSA a month agao he wasn't sick acted normal I have bleached my whole house and sheets everything. What is the next step if I do not get better?

Extremely eHealthy
According to the choice of antibiotics you doctor have made, it seems you have uncomplicated Staphylococcus aureus skin infection.
The spot on back of your neck is probably carbuncle, and, it usually causes to feel generally sick.
Nausea is a side effect of using Cleocin.

Did you get results from the testing?
