Terrible pain in my neck and numbness and swelling in my right hand and index finger. Would like to know if exercise or adjusting would help? Thanks

Hello Curemyneck,

Welcome to this forum and the people who post here and try to help others.

Curemyneck, in my opinion only your doctor should answer your question. Those of us with back pain are not trained medical professionals, and thus are not qualified to answer your question.

Do speak with your doctor and get his/her thoughts.

Hello curemyneck, you have some small bony growths around the two bottom vertebral joints in your neck, they are encroaching on your neural foramen, which are grooves that your nerves coarse out of, that are at the side, and toward the rear of your vertebra. See if you can find a picture of a spine with the features on the vertebra labelled.

As far as exercise or adjusting goes ask a good qualified medical practitioner.
