I had my results of a mri and the doctor was very vague - saying he would refer me to orthopeadics ....could anybody throw any light on it for me.

this is what is says....

t1 and t2 sagittals lumbosacral region, t1 and t2 axials through lower 3 lumbar intervertebrak disc levels

disc dessication of l2/3. l3/4 and l4/5 intervertebral discs noted the cord ends at l1 the lower cord within the provision of low resolution images returns normal signal intensity on sagittal images

at l4/5 diffuse disc bulge with posterior annular tear otherwise normal appearances no thecal sac or nerve root compression

at l3/4 diffcuse annular disc bulge no thecal sac or nerve root compression

at l2/3 axial images were not obtained, however on sagittal images a posterior annular tear is noted. no significant nerve root or thecal sac compression on the sagittal images

wow....that was a lot would be happy if someone could convert to plain english doctor
