Q: MRI Findings

Hi I just got an MRI done and I would like someone to be able to translate this for me if they could...

Findings:The spinal cord appears tethered and is seen as far as the L4 level posteriorly extending into a large loculated fluid intensity collection. There is a posterior dysraphism at L3, L4 and L5. Only 2 segments of th sacrum are in place consistent with agenesis of portions of the sacrum. The lumbar vertebral bodies appear normal in height and alignment, with exaggerated lordosis. There is moderately severe left and mild right neural foraminal narrowing at L1 and L2. There is mild bilateral neural foraminal narrowing at L2-L3.

Could someone please interpret all of this for me??

Thanks!!

Lisa

How do I ask other members a medical question?
To start a new topic, open the health forum most relevant to your topic and click on the new topic button, located on the top and bottom of the page. Type and submit your topic to the forum. Spend a little time thinking about a descriptive title for your topic that can help others looking for similar information. Use specific words in your topic titles rather than generalized terms. Descriptive and relevant titles will help you to get the most accurate answers and the fastest responses by other users. Be advised that non-specific topics may be deleted/edited/changed by the board administrator.
