If you had a baby moving around in your uterus, you'd be able to trigger a positive pregnancy test.

You can ask for a blood test-- they are very accurate. You may want to ask your doctor why you have been missing your period if not pregnancy related.

i went to my doctor and they also said i was not pregnant, i feel like i am, i have a 17 month old daughter. i went to the hospital and they found a heartbeat but told me i still wasn't pregnant. now they're sending me to get ultrasounds to make sure it is not cysts. before i had irregular paps and they told me i had the beginning signs of cervical cancer, i haven't been back to the doctor to get another colposcopy in almost 1 year and a half. i don't know if that has anything to do with it or if i really am pregnant and my hormone levels are so low that they can't detect them. thay say after your first trimester an at home pregnancy test will not work as well because your HcG levels drop dramatically. what i suggest to you is to go and have a blood test done to see if you are, and if that comes back negative but your body still tells you you are pregnant demand an ultrasound just to be sure, and for piece of mind!! good luck!!
