Q: Mouth sores and genital herpes

Yesterday, I gave my boyfriend oral sex, and after he left, I discovered a very small sore on the side of my mouth that I didn't notice I had, which might have been the beginning of a cold sore, but I'm not sure. It doesn't tingle, but it is sensitive when I touch it. I haven't had cold sores since childhood, but is it possible that I have given him genital herpes this way? I'm really worried about this. Thanks.

Do you think you have herpes?
Transmission is possible.
If you think you have herpes2, the risk of transmission is low.
Likewise herpes1, the risk is higher.

If you have an open cold sore you can definately transfer it to his genital area by giving oral.
