Over the past 5-6 months, the rugae on the top of my mouth have become more pronounced...no difference in color, just larger in size. The rugae immediately behind my front teeth is the largest. I have seen my dentist and ENT about it and they have said it is just normal anatomy. My dentist said it could be a immune system response or the fact that I am a constant mouth breather but states that there is no problem. Can you give me some advice on this issue? Thank you.
