Do they feel quite smallish and soft, and do they move around slightly when you run your toungue over them? And are they in identical positions inside each cheek? If so, they are exactly what I have and so I would assume absolutely nothing to worry about. Just one of those things like your appendix which doesn't really do anything but is there anyway.
Hope this helps!

No need to worry...
Hi!

I don't know very much about oral cancer, but based on your information, it seems that there is no need to worry.

First of all you have had this lump for a very long time. Has it grown during this time? If it were malign it would probably
have developed by now.

It sounds like your lump might be connected with your saliva glands in your cheeks. You have a large saliva gland inside the cheek in both sides which empties out right about your upper molars. Sometimes they can be quite large or they can be clogged up, which makes them swell or even feel hard.

If you are still worried, you can talk to your dentist about it again. He will probably look at the color and the texture of the lump and give you a satisfying answer.

Good health to you Smile
