Hi there everyone! Some of you may know me, but for those of you who donâ??t, my name is Jennifer Bida, Iâ??m Lowellâ??s daughter. Iâ??ve snuck onto her email so that I could contact the people who care about her whose emails I do not have!

The purpose of this email is to ask you to please help me vote for my mom to win the Fox FM Motherâ??s Day Contest, â??Mom of the Yearâ?? Award. All you have to do is send an email to iwin@foxfm.com and put â??Lowell Bidaâ?? in the subject line! Iâ??ve made a facebook group (â??Vote for Lowell Bida!â??) and this is what Iâ??ve written to try to motivate you to vote:

As you all know, Mother's Day is around the corner, and this year I've entered my mom into the Mother's Day Contest on FoxFM.com! The reason I'm making this group is to invite you all to vote for my mom, Lowell Bida, because I believe she deserves it, and I hope after you read this, you will too.

I know every mom is special to every child, but I wanted to share this story with you in hopes to motivate you to vote for my mom to win this contest.

In 2006, my sister Kaitlyn was diagnosed with Leukemia. It was during the Scits Revue that my parents had to rush her to the London Hospital. Ever since that day, my mom had taken a leave of absence from her two part-time jobs just to be able to drive Kaitlyn to London EVERY week. My mom had to watch her youngest daughter receive chemo treatments which would make her violently ill, give her tremendous pain that no one could cure, and make her gain weight and lose her hair. My mom had to watch Kaitlyn get Lumbar Punctures in her spine every month, get blood transfusions every month and have blood taken every week. My mom took care of driving which gave her nauseating migraines, she took care of Kaitlyn when she was up in the middle of the night crying in pain, and even drove her to London at 3 in the morning because of fevers, which were not allowed for Kaitlyn. My mom has counted out Kaitlyn's pills day by day for two years now, making sure she takes them properly. My mom has had to deal with her daughter's sickness, without asking for any help, and keeping the most optimistic and positive attitude throughout the entire process. Of course people offer their support and she takes it, but she never asks. She does and does and does, and now, I want to do something for her to say thank you for being the angel that she is.

If my mom hadn't been here, who knows where Kaitlyn would be. She's tough on her own, but my mother did everything under the sun for her. Not only did my mom take care of Kaitlyn through the hardest time of her life, but she also helped me out with coping at school, calling me every day. She takes care of her mother, who lives alone and doesn't drive, by going out for her groceries and bringing her to numerous doctor's appointments, she volunteers with our Church as much as she can, she always makes sure that there is supper on the table every night, she continues to be a loving and caring wife and friend, and she'll do anything for anyone else who needs help with the rest of her minimal spare time. My Mom dedicates her life to others and I want to acknowledge that. At times, mom loses her mind because she's always worrying about things - I wonder why! A mother should never have to see her young child suffer. I feel that my Mom deserves a reward, and this contest will be sure to give that to her - with YOUR help!

I want my mom to share her story with other moms, about how you can do anything for the ones you love. She'll get that chance if you vote for her to be on the Fox FM morning show!

I thank you for your time to read this story, and I hope its not too much to ask for one more minute of that time to help me thank my mom on behalf of all us children.

And so there is my motherâ??s story; I hope its proof enough that she deserves this award! You can go to www.foxfm.com to see what the prizes include.

Thank you so much for your time,

Jennifer
