Well, about three weeks ago I had to go and fall again. There is a metal lip that pertudes out on my door jam on the bottom and I got the front of my sneeker caught in it as I wnet in the door. Trying to hold the screen door open and stepping up is a hard job.
Anyways, i had a visit with my neuro and did not tell him about the fall. Although I was having some mild pain where there was none before. Just above my surgical cement site. I was working in the shed the other day and when I was done, it hurt so bad I had to put a call out to him. I have been on Oxycodone for my bulging L3.4 but, now he also put me back on Morhphine Sulfate extended release so I could at least have a pretty normal day without pain. He first wants an X-Ray and then another MRI if needed. Right now we are ruling out two possible things. One being a new fracture and the other being some of the cement cracked and let loss. Either way I'm fooked.
I just hope it is not the cement cause I will have no option but another surgery then. If it is another break, then I will opt of a back brace.

Wish me well and send me some of the white light gang would ya? nurse

Hello Carrie,

WONDERFUL that you are doing better now that you nixed the morphine and that adjusting your monitor has helped.

Makes me feel better knowing you are doing better.

Take care.

Well, I'd better go nw, my vision is giving me fits agaom. Cam't see what I am typint any more. Hope it gets better by tommoroe.

Hello Carrie,

Scars me too Carrie. May I suggest that you give your neurosurgeon a call about the sharp piercing pain you had this afternoon. Call the first thing in the morning.

Carrie, have you seen a ophthalmologist about your sight problems? If not, PLEASE do and do so without delay. That concerns me greatly.

Thoughts and prayers are coming your way.

I will call neuro first thing tomorrow. I go for my T-spiine X-Ray tomorrow. And yes, I already called today about seeing an eye doctor. LOL Great minds think alike. I will also call them tomorrow for an appointment.
Thanks so much for you help and replies. They are much appreciated.

BTW: I am sure you are use to me making my usual typo's. But, as you can see, the longer I stay on the board, the worse they get and I can't see them well enough to correct them. I just corrected two above. I am just happy Florida Midcaid is going to cover my glasses for me. She has to look and see if I was eligable first.
Whew! I've had these same ones for about 4 years now. I could tell my reading vision was taking a plunge.

First, GREAT!!!!, our ESP is working very well. LOL

Second, yep, about time for an update on your glasses. Smile

Here's hoping all works out for your back and your sight.
