The condom busted while my boyfriend and I were having sex and he ejaculated in me. I'm not on birth control so we bought the morning after pill. This happened on August 6th and I took the pill on the 8th...well it was after midnight so technically it was the 9th. I should've taken it earlier, but I did take within the 72 hour window so we figured I was safe. However, I used an ovulation calendar to figure out which days I was most fertile during my current cycle. The 6th and 7th were medium/high fertility days and the 8th, my ovulation day, was the highest fertility day. From what I understand, the pill doesn't work if an egg has already been fertilized. I don't know if it just has to be fertilized or fertilized and attached to, or implanted in the uterus. What are the chances that I could be pregnant? I know there's a possibility..in most situations there usually is, but I'm wondering if my chances seem high or I shouldn't worry too much. Also, since I was supposedly ovulating on the 8th, I'm wondering if the pill was even effective? I understand that there's really no way for anyone to provide me with answers that are 100% accurate, but any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to those who take the time to help.
