i took my first morning after pill in the beginning of dec. 2008. And took my second one a few days later. I got my menstrual cycle early that month and for the month of jan 09. I then got my period late for feb. I didnt get my period for march. I started my period for april the time i would usually start before i took the morning after pills. I didnt get my period again for may. Ive tooken the morning after pill about 5 times already since december, so thats like in between a 5 month time frame. Ive recently tooken a pregnancy test that came back negative, so my question is, could i be pregnant or is the plan b pills messing up my cycles? Im experiencing all my menstrual cycle symptoms, but i havent gotten my period. Ive also just had a baby in feb. 08, i got pregnancy symptoms early in my first trimester and so far right now im not feeling any preg symptoms, i have a strong feeling thay im not pregnant but im still concerned about my irregular cycles

Plan B is messing with your cycles-- which is completely normal.

ONE dose of the MAP is enough to mess with your cycle for up to three months. So your body is going to need some time to adjust and gets back to normal-- that may take awhile and the process will start over the more hormones you take.

You can become more regular faster by getting on normal birth control pills-- which I suggest you do. Plan B is not meant to be taken regularly. It's safe to do, but its unreliable and has awful side effects. If you don't want to take birth control pills for whatever reason, then look into other forms of birth controls. Plan B is supposed to be when your original plan fails.
