Hi

I recently took the morning after pill some time in december, it was one that I bought from the chemist and was a single tablet.

My periods were a few days late and normal. however i am 2 weeks into my cycle and i am having a heavy bleed again.

I am worried that something may be wrong

Can i have some advise please

No, irregular bleeding is very common for a few months after taking the morning after pill.

You took a lot of hormones, so is going to take awhile for your body to adjust itself back to normal.

Your periods may be a little weird for around three months and spotting or bleeding in between is pretty common. The good news is you're not pregnant! Smile

You may want to consider birth control pills, it can help regulate everything a little faster and you will get that extra protection against pregnancy.
