BC pills CAN cause severe mood swings.
Hormones are very much a part of our moods and emotional well being, and birth control IS adding extra hormones to our delicate mix.
I cannot use hormones because they cause me terrible mood swings, so I use a NON HORMONAL IUD, paragard.
There may be a pill out there that can meet your needs, but you do need to consult with your doctor
