I had the same problem in first and begining of my second trimester of pregnancy and caused me a lot of pain. It was also accompanied by constipation(i am now in my 3rd tri and it seems to have gone away) i found the only cure was eating bananas, rice, apples, spinach(helped a lot when i had the pain),and anything high in fiber. Try drinking chamomile tea as well, it helped me sometimes.

Also, i dont know if this will apply to you, but i am lactose in tolerant and my pregnany seemed to make it worse, so i had to cut dairy out of my diet completly, which seemed to help. even small amounts like butter on my toast seemed to cause this horrible pain/gas build up.
