Hysterectomy Answer A26673
Hi,
Welcome to ehealthforum,
The prolonged bleeding after hysterectomy is not normal. It could be suggestive of possibility of vaginal infections, vault infection, endometriosis etc. The exact cause can only be made out after careful examination and further investigations. Consider visiting your gynecologist/obstetrician at the earliest for further evaluation and assistance. Get started on treatment as indicated (based on examination and investigation results). Be in regular follow-up and monitoring of your treating gynecologist/obstetrician and report any unusual/new symptoms immediately.
Take care.
