10 months post hyterectomy bleeding

My hysterectomy was in April 2011. I have not been in an intimate relationship for 3 years until recently and had intercourse for the first time less than 2 weeks ago. Everything was great...no pain or dryness, but afterwards I had a fair amount of red blood and serous drainage for a couple days. Is this normal since it was the first time to have sex since the surgery over 10 months ago??
