my grandson is almost 6 months old and for the past 3 months has had a severe skin rash that a dermatologist has diagnosed as eczema. His recommendation was steroid creme and vaseline and no bathing. This has not worked. The vaseline seems to make it worse. Now he has two episodes: 1 he was given a taste of cake icing at a birthday party which caused red whelps and lines on his face whereever it touched and the sencond he was given a very tiny bite of creamed potatoes which he rubbed onto his face and above his eyes again causing red whelps and severe itching. What could this be? He has been on Bendaryl for the past 3 months.
