I notice that those suffering from mono all had very sore throats which fortunately i dont but i do have very very swollen glands on both sides and lumps on my throat, behind my ear and at the back of my head. I feel exhausted and have little or no appetite and have a rather sickly stomach sometimes nausea, i also have a white flemlike substance down my throat at one side..but it is not sore!!
i generally feel not well and i was wondering could you tell me whats wrong???

Mononucleosis Answer A4056
Mono can be manifested with sore throat, swollen lymph nodes, tiredness, nausea, etc. There are other infections (bacterial or viral) that can be manifested with the same symptoms. Mono can be easily proven with a serological blood test (specific antibodies against the virus are detected in the serum).


You may want to consult your GP or an infectologist, if necessary.
