My boyfriend has mono for about 1 week and he is recovering. We didn't know that he had it unil we went to doctor since we thought that he had a flu so long, so I kissed him and definitely I got the virus. But for 3 days already, I did not have any symptoms from mono. Will I get it later and will the virus stay in the body forever which means I can never kiss again since I can pass it to others?

From what I understand, the virus has an incubation period of about a month before symptoms start to show. However, the majority of people actually either don't get any symptoms at all or very mild symptoms. Everyone who's infected whether they every show symptoms or not do carry the virus for life and are able to transmit the virus.... but I wouldn't worry about it too much if I were you. It's said that by age 35 95% of people carry the virus anyway.
I do hope your guy is feeling better and that you never got anything with a bite.
