Hi there. I first started feeling unwell about two and a half months ago. Kind of shrugged it off, then after starting to feel much worse, I went and saw my doctor. Had blood drawn, and tested positive for mononucleosis. Here's my question.... Ever since I started feeling bad, I have had this chronic pressure in my head and ears that is always there, from when I wake up, til when I go to sleep. Is this from mono, or is there something else wrong with me? I will note that I fell off of my horse about three and a half months ago, and hit my head. Though my doctor saw NO signs of anything wrong neurologically. My acute symptoms from mono have gone away, all I feel now is the fatigue and this constant head pressure. I can't really call it a "headache" because there is no pain. Does this happen in mono patients or should I be more concerned? Thank you so much.
