Q: Mono relapse ?

I'm 25, and I believe I was infected with EBV in late december - the bad flu-like symptoms then started in mid/late january, which lasted for a solid month. Then the less painful but equally as debilitating extreme fatigue symptoms lasted for another month after that, so I missed a total of 2 months of school. Then I slowly began to be able to return to work... which was neccessary, really, to make up for all the stuff I missed.
But anyhow, my question is regarding my blood tests and more specifically about my continuing very low neutrofil/very high lymphocyte count. Is it considered normal in a bad case of mono, to still have a 19% neutrophil count and a 69% lymphocyte count 3 months after the worst symptoms have ended?
I'm also experiencing what feels like a mini relapse - the glands in my throat and groin seem to be larger [not as enlargened when I was really sick, but noticably bigger] and much more tender than normal and I've been a bit more sleepy lately. For the past couple months I've also been experiencing quite a few canker sores in my mouth, sometimes multiple. They aren't too debilitating and heal fairly quickly, but it's been one after the other.... is this in any way normal?
My doc and pharmacist have been urging me to just be patient, keep up with my vitamins, regular sleep, etc [which I have quite religiously], get my blood tested afer summer and if it's still bad then they'll need to do other tests to see whats going on.... which is a little alarming for me. I want to be prepared if it's anything other than lingering mono. What else could it be?

Thanks a lot for any help. I really appreciate it.

This really sounds like you're still battling mono symptoms. If you push yourself too hard before you're totally recovered, you could set yourself back significantly. Even if you begin to feel better, don't push yourself. It can take a long time--perhaps up to a year for some people.
I'm about the same age as you; I've been ill since February and there are times I feel I'm getting better, then push myself and pay for it. I have been resting a lot this past week and see improvement from it. Just hang in there.
