I've had mono and tonsillitis for a little over 2 weeks now and just the other day after switching to a more powerful medication, a nasty rash has spread all over the upper half of my body.

It's about the same size as a pimple would be, its red in color, and EVERYWHERE. It does NOT itch, and I have no idea what this is from but it scares me a lot.

The doctor told me to switch from the Clindamycin I got newly subscribed to, the the medicine I was using before, Augmentin. The last time I took the Clindamycin was yesterday at noon but since I stopped taking it, its gotten even worse.

My dad just assumes that it will go away in time and not to worry about it, keep taking the meds, and hope it leaves. I on the other hand am very worried and wondered if anyone else has had this problem.

Edit: I also am on some sort of steroid since I did have an abscess before, the abscess is gone but I'm still taking the tiny pill once a day.
