Q: Mono and working a labor job

Approximately 3 weeks ago I was diagnosed with mono. After this I can safely say I had mono for at least a months time beforehand. After my sore throat went away ( which lasted for about a week, and was my motivation to see a doctor) and energy came back to an extent, I decided to return to work. I'm working 10/hr days, 6 days a week in a lumber yard. My job is generally manual labor, lifting and loading items upwards to 90lbs/each. I was wondering if this was safe for my body, and spleen in general. My doctor said that this lifting work shouldn't be a problem as long as i am not HIT in the spleen. I seek a second opinion for my body's sake.
