Molluscum contagiosum is a viral infection and it starts with a typical pearly dome shaped rash which may be locates on some common areas as face,mouth,eyelid,nech,thighs and even the genital area in adults.

Genital lesions can spread through sexual contact so intercourse should be avoided until treated.The most common treatment method is by curettage or cryothrapy.
If you suspect the lesions to be as molluscum consider visiting a Physician for evaluation as physical examination of the rash is very important.
